A video project during the Covid-19 lockdown, with a group of 25 students from the National Circus School confined in Australia, Belgium, British Columbia, United States, France and Quebec.
What is the most important “message” we are receiving in this period of global upheaval since the Covid-19 Pandemic? How do we create and stay connected remotely? What form should we give to living art, without having an interlocutor present, such as the public or our stage partners?
Inspired by the figure of the Messenger in the Greek tragedy, this creation tries to plunge collectively into these burning questions while trying to cultivate our creativity, our sense of belonging and our responsibility towards the other, be it a living being or an environment. As Galileo so poignantly said, “One cannot pick a flower without disturbing a star.”
